How about a great story for your Good Friday? A new photo from the set of Catching Fire hit the internet today, and it has a lovely story to go with it. Read about Marisa Tran's set visit, made possible by Kids Wish Network:

As Marisa Tran was stuck in the hospital recovering from rounds of chemotherapy, there was one book series that she loved to repeatedly read cover-to-cover, The Hunger Games. The teen easily related to Katniss’s bravery and strong nature, two things Marisa needed to help her through the devastating treatment required to fight off her life-threatening illness. When she was well enough, Kids Wish Network wouldn’t think of a better way to show her some support than by granting her wish to visit the set of the series second book and movie, Catching Fire.

Marisa was diagnosed with both acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) in 2011. Having both life-threatening conditions is a very rare occurrence, and Marisa started treatment immediately. In October of 2011, she underwent her first bone marrow transplant then began chemotherapy for each diagnosis separately. The teen spent over six months in the hospital recovering, most of the time in an isolation unit as her immune system was extremely compromised.

When she was discharged, there was nothing to stop her, or Kids Wish Network, from granting her wish. Marisa and her family enjoyed an all-expense paid wish trip to Atlanta to visit the set of “Catching Fire” during filming. Her favorite part was meeting the amazing cast, including stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson, and Liam Hemsworth.
