Mockingjay part 2 was so so good!
It was just an emotionally thrilling ride!
I went to watch for the first time in the Mockingjay Double Feature and I couldn't over come my emotional state, I knew it was the last film of of my beloved series and I couldn't handle it. I remember reading Mockingjay for the first time and I could just remember the tears I went through reading this, each page closer to the end of Katniss's Journey. The book was hard to read as well each of the characters you love *SPOILERS* dies and it's heartbreaking to see the consequences of war being brought upon to theses characters and to our hero, Katniss. And this is why I LOVED Watching Mockingjay part 2 because Francis Lawrence captured the Escence of the book, the theme and the tone EVERYTHING he captured into one film, it was remarkable how the amazing and talented Cast and the hardworking crew established the finale into one perfect knot. This weekend I went to watch it AGAIN with my family and once again Phenomenal, and somehow it finally hits me, this is truly the final Hunger Games film. I was utterly destroyed again when Jennifer Lawrence sang "Deep in the Meadow" so beautiful and magnificent I could just go back to the theater where I watch the first film and she was singing it to Rue and Primrose it was remarkable absolutely . I truly want to thank the Cast and Crew for making this amazing faithful (which it truly is) and epic finale to this series.Thank you!
I have seen Mockingjay Part 2 once. I thought it was good, but still not as good as Catching Fire. Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
I saw Mockingjay Part 2 and it was sooo good! It follows the story lines of the book almost exactly, one series of movies that does and gives the book justice! In love with the series and a great way to finish it off!
I saw the double-feature on the 18th; there were 3 people total in the theater. o.O Anyway, my initial reactions to the film are 7 pages long in single-spaced 8-point font, so...yeah, it gave me a lot of thoughts and feels. Most of it I praise highly, even though it basically murdered me. So much to say, so much more to feel...one "surprise" scene (likely unexpected by most) gave me immense gratification. I do have my critiques and things I very much wanted to see/think should have been done, especially with the ending, but on the whole it's certainly an excellent, outstanding film. It's also incredibly faithful to the source text, which for the *most* part works in its favor.
So excited for mj
Thanks so much for the giveaway! I really want to see it in IMAX! Have seen it twice so far in regular theater, and the cinematography is so beautiful that I bet it looks amazing in IMAX (not to mention I can assume the sewer scene is even more terrifying!).
I saw the movie once. Im dieing to see it again!!! Id like to complete my huge HG colection with the last posters!!!!!
I can't wait to see Mockingjay Pt 2 like 12 more times! THG has been such a big part of my life since I first read the books years ago, and I thought that MJ2 perfectly captured how the lines between good and evil often blur. It's sad to see the series coming to an end, but I'm glad to know that the movies ended in such a fulfilling way. I can't wait to share the books and films with my kids someday. :)
I've seen it 3 times (in regular theaters) and think it's the best of the series. Josh did a phenomenal job of playing the troubled Peeta, and he just broke my heart. Jennifer, as always, nailed Katniss.
I was able to see part 2 as a double feature on the 18th and I was completely blown away. I saw it in extreme digital and it felt so real. It was right there in front of me on a wall to wall screen and I cannot believe that it happened over a week ago. I don't want to accept that the franchise is over, that there are no more movies left. Can I just go cry for the rest of my life now?
I loved it so much!!! A great way to end such an amazing series. Both the books and the movies were amazing!!' I'm so happy they didn't sugar coat anything so that it could show the harsh realities of war.
I really enjoyed it! It's very moving.
I have seen it twice so far, and it was AMAZING. Actually, I liked it even better the second time- I felt like I could really appreciate it instead of being overwhelmed with emotion. They outdid themselves- best of the series, and absolutely a perfect ending!
I've seen Mockingjay Part 2 seven times (and will watch it as many more times as I can!!) I love it soooo much, it's so good!!!! :)
I have not seen it yet. Plan on seeing with couple friends & family members.
I thought it left out some stuff and went too fast at times, but overall an amazing performance by all the cast.
Yes I've seen it twice and it's outstanding I love it so much!! It's beautiful, compelling, mind-blowing, satisfying, emotional, and above all...EPIC. My favorite movie in the franchise .
I have not seen it but i hope too with the tickets if i win also those posters looks AWESOME
Mockingjay Part 2 left me feeling dead inside. This franchise is my life, and I just can't believe that it has ended. Mockingjay Part 2 is definitely the best movie of this series. I'm really going to miss everything about these movies. Thank you so much for these giveaways. I have yet to win something. It would be great if I won something. Words can't describe how happy I would be!!
The last movie was just nothing short of amazing, as was the whole series. The movie was loyal to the book, heart-wrenching and emotional, but if I could I would want to experience this whole phenomenon over and over. I remember Caesar Flickerman saying in 'Catching Fire': "We have never see anything like this, and we will never see anything like it again". That to me is a summary of the whole THG journey from book to movie.
Also, my favourite line from the movie is: "Mockingjay: May your aim be as true as your heart is pure." - Alma Coin
The BIGGEST dramatic irony in recent movie history!! I laughed like Snow!
Three-finger salute and Rue's 4-note whistle - kudos to the best movie franchise ever!
Saw the double feature and was excited but thought that MJ2 missed the mark in my opinion. The last 10 to 15 minutes tried to have the emotions and wrap up what fans had invested 9 hours in movies and not counting the books. There were some good action scenes that would probably be great on IMAX.
It was amazing but heartbreaking!
Yes, I've seen it! Really well-adapted! I cried a lot with the epilogue and I enjoyed so much. I'll miss The Hunger Games on cinemas!!!
Jennifer Lawrence singing ties the series together and was thoughtful wrap. Is there really not going to be a companion CD? Marketing opportunities are being missed and cannot believe the franchise has been eclipsed.
