My favorite Mockingjay Part 2 character is Katniss! I love her strength!
It is extremely hard for me to choose a favorite character when in fact I have a favorite two. These books have had such an impact on my life and these two characters especially. So I am going to describe why I love them both so much. First off is Katniss Everdeen. Katniss' story is so beautiful and inspiring. I am so glad I got to experience it myself. Katniss is so brave and strong. She is literally the perfect role model. Even though she had been through so many traumatic events, she still had the willpower to fight and overthrow the Capitol. She inspired me to always keep going through life and to never give up. Even when you are at your lowest, there is a light at the end of the tunnel! I try my best to be like her everyday...brave,selfless, and kind. She is an inspiration to teenage girls everywhere! I really don't know how to express my love for this character so that's the best I can do. Next on my list is Peeta Mellark. Most of the fans idols are Katniss but he is right up there with her to me. He is so brave as well. It took so much strength and courage to get through that hijacking, losing your whole family, and everyone you love without any support from people. I absolutely adore how kind and compassionate he is. I love how much he cares about Katniss and how selfless he is. He is the perfect example of what any young man should be. Peeta also inspires me on such a strong level to keep fighting through hard times. I have went through so many hard times and these two characters here have helped me through them. I love them both so much!
It's hard to choose a favorite character because every single one of them has such a complex personality and is special in their own way and you can't compare them with one another. But if I had to choose, I'd pick Haymitch. Why? Because he'd endured so much pain and loss in his life, and still he managed to survive and get up every day. He's s shown me that no matter what happened in your past, and no matter what place you're in right now you still can hope for the better and you can be better, that there are important things to fight for. That even when we sometimes don't see the point of doing something and are reluctant, in the end it pays off.
My favorite character of Mj part2 (and of the whole saga) is ... Buttercup! (and Katniss lol :3 )
Finnick is my favorite. he did not have to join the squad, he could have chosen safety, No one would have blamed him, yet he still chose to sacrifice himself.
My favourite character is Johanna Mason. In the second book she seems so powerful and fearless. Another side of her shows in the thrid book and makes her more human. I loved her story.
I most say my favourite character in Mockingjay part 1 is Prim, because she is such an adorable character, since The Hunger Games movie I get attached to her, I have a little sister too who I will give my life for without hesitation, mostly I think that's the reason I have always liked Prim. But it isn't the only reason, through the books and the movies, weget to see how she grows up, from being an scared and small character, she became a strong, courageous woman, I think that it is amazing we can see her grow up to such an amazing person.
Katniss is my favorite character because I loved her determination from the beginning. She would do everything to keep her loved ones save. She really became my heroine through the books.
My favorite character would have to be (even though he is no longer in the movies) Cinna. I just absolutely love him.
I love Finnick because he's got that awesome trident!
My favorite character would have to be Katniss, for the obvious reasons. But I also absolutely love Peeta, Finnick, Effie, Haymitch, and Johanna. Suzzane just did an incredible job making all of the characters so likable!
My favorite character in MJ Part 2 has to be Boggs because in the book he was caring and looking out for Katniss. he even took the bomb for Katniss to live. I honestly can't wait to see him in the new film because I want to see how Mahershala Ali portrays Boggs.
Finnick is my favorite character because he was able to stay happy until the end. He's very "finnicky" of course.
My very favorite character is...well, pretty much two of them in a tie: Effie & Haymitch. (And yes, I am a hardcore Hayffie shipper.) Right from the start I read a far deeper and more complex interpretation of Effie than the surface perception of her. I found the entire thing impossible to quit thinking about, and the two of them stood in the forefront as being the most compelling and fascinating to me. Visions of their pasts, their presents, their complicated relationship, and the important development and growth they undergo over time began to unfold themselves before me. And I adore the way the escort & mentor became real parental figures, dear friends, and stalwart allies/teammates to Katniss and Peeta. Though I felt positively scandalized by the lack of Effie and concluding details in the Mockingjay book, I'm obviously thrilled that the films are rectifying those issues...and look forward to them both being done great justice in...10 days now! The only future of which I can conceive is one in which they'll live together--with Everlark, toastbabies, kids of their own, geese (& hopefully some other critters), etc.!
My favorite MJP2 character would have to be Effie Trinket. I know in the books we see her as this almost alien being, so different than what Katniss is used to dealing with. In the movies, Elizabeth Banks has given this character so much life, so much emotion that they decided to bring her into every movie and replacing a few characters in the process. As the films progress, we get to see her character develop into a sophisticated person, a Capitol citizen that begins to see what is wrong with the world they live in. And yet, throughout all of it, she is determined to stay her cheerful, optimistic self. In District 13, we get to see a "stripped-down" (hardly; have you SEEN her outfits in 13? Some of the best ;) ) Effie, seeing her help Katniss be the Mockingjay she was meant to be. I can't wait to see how she grows as a character when she returns to the Capitol, the land of excess. How she handles in a world without the Hunger Games. (I also can't wait to see Peeta become "sane" again and see his children with Katniss :3 ). This movie will be the best of all of them.
Finnick is for sure my favorite character. Even though we don't meet him until the second book and we really don't get to meet the real Finnick until Mockingjay, he is still such a dynamic character. He is so bold and strong. His intense love for Annie and his never ending battle to keep her and everyone else safe is one of the many reasons I love his character so much. Considering we meet him as the snotting, pretty boy, his character is not that at all, which is slightly atypical of other similar characters in other popular YA novels. Finnick holds the one quote in the entire series that locked me into this fandom, "It takes ten times as long to put yourself back together as it does to fall apart." The quote means so much to mean I have it Tattooed on my shoulder. I love Finnick and I have to say this movie will be the hardest for me, for more than one reason.
My favourite character is Prim, totally underrated but fearless and smart, wanting to be a doctor and all! (even if she does care too much about the mangey cat!)
My favorite character in Mockingjay Part 2 would have to be Primrose Everdeen because she is kind and gentle in a world that is cold and harsh. Prim helps keep Katniss sane throughout all the things that are going around them. Prim is also the reason that Katniss keeps on fighting to have a better place for gentle souls like her.
My favorite character is Beetee. He from my district, (district 3) and also plays a strong role in the revolution. He's just cool:)

I hadn't realized we were to discuss our favorite character. Hands down Haymitch Abernathy. I could give many reasons why he's my favorite, but it all comes down to the fact that he was the best developed and best written character in the entire series. He is three dimensional, full of snark, and don't let his addiction fool you, Haymitch has more wisdom that people give him credit for. Everyone is either Team Peeta, Team Katniss, even Team Gale, I'll always be Team Haymitch!

I love them all! Katniss is so amazing and so unique, especially compared to a lot of YA fictional heroines. Peeta is just fantastic, and I love him more than I should. I love Finnick too (who doesn't). They're all just amazing.
My favorite character is Katniss because she is brave,intelligent,loving and truly a genuine hero.
