The Hunger Games: The Exhibition Mobile Guide is now available for $3.99 in the app store for iOS

The Hunger Games: The Exhibition Mobile Guide is the official mobile companion to The Hunger Games: The Exhibition, opening TODAY July 1 at Discovery Times Square in New York City. When you visit the Exhibition, this optional mobile guide adds additional information to the self-guided tour. It's like having a real Panem historian take you through the history of Panem. You use the guide within the exhibition to track your journey with a digital Panem Passport, gaining stamps as you travel among the Districts and complete interactive tasks. Along the way, you can capture and share your own souvenir photos in places like the Tribute Train, the interview set of Capitol TV and District 13. You can discover and unlock bonus hidden content in the mobile companion, including media recovered from the Capitol’s surveillance cameras and from District 13’s digital storage units. The mobile guide is $7.00 at the exhibition or free with a VIP ticket.

Even if you don't plan on seeing the exhibition, the app is a treat for tributes as it has in-depth audio on everything from the districts to the history of The Hunger Games.

Please note: there are only a few shots of the actual exhibit on the app. You won't be able to view all the exhibition galleries within the app - just a couple of shots from inside as spotlights. But there are some cool stills within the app that I've never seen released before:

From the app store description:

The Hunger Games Exhibition celebrates the blockbuster The Hunger Games franchise and Katniss’s epic journey like never before. This dynamic exploration of the art, science, pageantry and history of the world of Panem features iconic costumes, props, and set recreations that highlight the technological wizardry and amazing artistry that brought this world to life. Visit the exhibition in person to see high-tech, hands-on interactives that let you dive into exciting behind-the-scenes content, engage deeply with the world of the films, and discover a whole new side of the stories that took the world by storm.
