First Look at the Katniss 'Catching Fire' Barbie

Back in June, the Doll Genie told us there would be some Catching Fire Barbie dolls coming our way in October. The first images of the Katniss dolls have hit the interwebs. In addition to Katniss, There will be Effie, Finnick, and Peeta dolls available for 29.95 (pre-order here) to 34.99 here.

Katniss' incredibly thick hair can be used as a weapon in the arena.

It seems like Effie would be the perfect candidate for her own Barbie! No photos available yet, but her doll's description is: Now that she's escorting her tributes on a cross-country Victory Tour, this always-fashionable devotee of Capitol Couture gets to be in her favorite place of all: the spotlight. The Effie doll wears a metallic blue dress inspired by the costume worn in the film. Included are signature accessories: golden collar and belt and metallic net gloves.

Jennifer Lawrence Films "Secret" Cameo in Dumb & Dumber Sequel

Jennifer Lawrence is making a cameo in the Dumb & Dumber sequel, reporting to the Atlanta set to play a young version of Kathleen Turner's character. Lawrence's Hunger Games: Mockingjay set is nearby, and according to The Hollywood Reporter, the entire cast has visited the Dumb and Dumber To location.

The Lumineers Debut "Gale Song"

Newgrass group The Lumineers, featured on the upcoming Catching Fire soundtrack, recently debuted "Gale Song" at a live show in Marymoor Park in Seattle.

It’s not every day you get to use the phrase “world exclusive”, but that’s truly what The Lumineers were cool enough to suprise us with during our complete broadcast of their live set at Marymoor Park last Saturday. While initially it went unknown whether the song debuted in their encore was to be featured on their new album or was simply a something the band had drummed up while on tour, we can now confirm the track will appear on the forthcoming Hunger Games:Catching Fire soundtrack alongside The National, Coldplay, and Imagine Dragons, announced today. Bearing the title “Gale Song” the tune is a fragile and soft, slow builder which grows to an immense emotional peak before settling once again. If it’s any indication of The Lumineers direction, the band are certianly set reprise themselves with one of the most heartfelt records of the year.

Catrett Locke Casting, the Atlanta, GA casting company responsible for the extras casting of Catching Fire, has issued another casting call for their "Untitled Trilogy" (which we all know is Mockingjay.) Check out what they're looking for and the shooting dates:
