President Snow Monument Detonation #SnowFall

StudioCanal Germany had a totally unique way to celebrate Mockingjay Part 2

For five weeks, several sculptors worked on a massive, 30 foot high relief of President Snow hewn into the rock face of a Bavarian quarry using rock cutters, angle grinders and hammers and chisels. The monument consisted of light grey sandstone and weighs well over 100 tons.

However, the majestic Snow sculpture was not meant to last. Fans from all over the world had the opportunity to unlock the spectacular quarry #SnowFall detonation video via Twitter and be the first to view it.

Check out the video above. I wonder what Donald Sutherland thinks of this?!

New The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 TV Spot Features Deleted Dialogue From Plutarch’s Letter

A new The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 TV spot features a bit of deleted dialogue from Plutarch’s letter to Katniss. In the voiceover from the TV Spot Haymitch reads:

Sometimes a leader’s nothing more than a light on a winding path. You’re that light for so many of us.

Francis Lawrence talks about this additional dialogue in an interview he did with HitFix at the Berlin premiere of the film:

"We used to actually even have extra dialogue," said Lawrence, who told me he refused to "fabricate some kind of performance" to complete Hoffman's remaining scenes. "We wanted it to feel like a tribute to him in a sense. And we had additional dialogue that was a nod to Plutarch, but if you were really listening, it was a nod to Phil. And we ended up taking it out, because it sort of was changing the meaning, the thematic meaning, of what that scene was. But yeah, there's a feeling there. And I think it's partially because both Jen and Woody [Harrelson] knew that there was an element to it that was a tribute to Phil, so maybe some of that's still kind of coming through."

Jennifer Lawrence is EW's Entertainer of The Year

Jennifer Lawrence is EW's Entertainer of The Year! Jen is featured on the cover of the December 4th edition of the magazine and spoke about everything from The Hunger Games to her ongoing work with David O. Russel in the issue.

“It’s crazy,” Lawrence tells EW. “I signed on to these projects when I was 20 years old. I remember being like, ‘Oh my God, I’m going to be 25 when I’m finished. It seemed so far away.” As for saying goodbye to Katniss Everdeen, Lawrence says she now feels the finality of Mockingjay – Part 2 arriving in theaters. “It does feel over. It didn’t for a while and I didn’t think it would ever sink in, but it has now. It feels over. And that’s okay. It’s okay to move on.”

Some images from the photoshoot:

'Mockingjay Part 2' Original Score Now Available

The Mockingjay Part 2 Original Score by James Newton Howard is now available! You can buy the score - which they are officially calling the Soundtrack as there is no pop companion soundtrack this time around - on iTunes. It's also available on Spotify.

Deep in The Meadow (sung by Jennifer Lawrence) is the last song on the soundtrack/score and is definitely our favorite! Francis Lawrence talked about coaxing Jen to sing one last time with Vulture:

I coaxed her to sing another song. So ‘The Hanging Tree’ was on film; it was in front of a lot of people, and she was going to have to do it all day because we were shooting that scene all day long. That drove her crazy. This time around, I knew it was going to be a tender subject — I knew she would do it, but I knew it was going to be tender. But I said, ‘Listen, it can just be you and me. We’ll go into an ADR booth and clear the room, sit on the floor, turn the lights down. So it’ll just be you and me.’

Red Carpet Interviews:

Jennifer reflected on what it means to see the end of Katniss Everdeen's saga.

"It's so important for us to all realize that change is in us," she said. "Everybody always thinks 'Well I'm, it's not going to make a difference. It's just me.' And she was one single that inspired a nation."
