Jennifer Lawrence Covers Vanity Fair's February 2013 Issue
Jennifer Lawrence is Vanity Fair's February 2013 cover girl, and she gives another hilarious, down-to-earth interview accompanied by some of the most gorgeous photos we've see of her to date.
In the article by Vanity Fair contributing editor Jim Windolf, she talks about a very Jennifer-like near miss with her bow:
One time I actually used it for defense. I pulled into my garage and I heard men in my house. And I was like, 'I'm not letting them take my stuff. I had just gotten back from training, so I had the bow and arrows in the back of my car. I went to my car and I put this quiver on me and I had my bow and I loaded it and I'm walking up the stairs. And I look, and my patio doors were open, and there were guys working right there, and I was like, 'Heyyy, how you doin'?'" Lawrence's friends were disappointed by the anticlimactic outcome of the event, the actress tells Windolf: "They were like, 'We've got to stage someone to break into your house and you can kill them!' That would be the funniest news ever. Katniss Everdeen actually kills someone with a bow and arrow!"
Jennifer Lawrence Reacts To Golden Globe Nomination
Jennifer Lawrence got an early surprise this morning when her agent called to tell her she'd been nominated for a Golden Globe Award. She also gave us a couple of tidbits about The Hunger Games: Catching Fire when she spoke exclusively to MTV news about the nomination this morning:
"I had no idea [the Golden Globes nominations were Thursday]," Lawrence told MTV News during an exclusive interview from the set of "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," My agent called me at 5:30 and I thought the set of my movie had burned down, or Josh [Hutcherson] had died or something. I didn't realize! I was so tired!"
"I'm covered in dirt, I'm drinking coffee, and then I'm going to go get into a swamp later. I'm basically just doing what all the other nominees are doing today," she joked. "We're all getting in a swamp together!"
Jennifer also revealed that the movie wraps in 8 days!
Get ready for a very exciting awards season.

Catching Fire: Cute Alert!
We couldn't resist sharing this set photo posted by Tumblr user hutchlikestoread because of it's sheer adorableness. It's Josh Hutcherson on the set of Catching Fire with a little fan. Some are identifying the little guy as Jennifer Lawrence's nephew, Bear. We can't confirm this but there is a resemblance.
We can see the Everlark edits going crazy already......
Catching Fire Set Photos: Josh Hutcherson Ink
The newest set photos from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire feature Josh Hutcherson hanging out on the beach in Hawaii between filming. Josh is sporting some pretty major ink in the photos.
Do they have tattoo parlours in District 12? It looks like he may have gotten those tats in District 4!
Riddle Me This...Jackson Spidell Plays TWO Roles In Catching Fire
We had a little fun with District 10's female tribute, Tiffany Waxler on Twitter last night. She threw down a riddle challenge, and we accepted!
There was a lot of confusion in the fandom about who was in some of the set photos with Josh Hutcherson. A lot of sites and news outlets identified him as Sam Claflin, and one report even thought it might be Liam Hemsworth. Holy Script change, Batman!
We were convinced that it was District 10's male tribute, Jackson Spidell in some of the set photos with Josh Hutcherson. So when Tiffany riddled us this....
We are happy to confirm that Jackson Spidell plays the male tribute from District 10 AND is Sam Claflin's double. Lucky Jackson! We'll be looking VERY closely for him in those arena scenes.
Thanks to Tiffany Waxler for the confirmation and her crazy riddle skills. You can (and should) follow her on twitter: @TiffanyWaxler
VIDEO: Catching Fire Behind The Scenes
Check out this behind-the-scenes video on set of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire! The video, from Splash News, is incredible to watch but, sadly, the commentary is by someone who has obviously never read the books (clueless). We recommend the mute button!
