Elizabeth Banks Covers Allure's June Issue

Elizabeth Banks is Allure's June 2015 cover star. Inside the issue Elizabeth talks about the difficulties of directing as a female in Hollywood, maintaining a long-term marriage, and the power of making people laugh.

“I prefer doing comedy over drama. Making people laugh is a very addictive thing,” she tells Allure. “All of these people absolutely get high off of killing a room. You can get that feeling of flying in drama as well, and I’ve had it many, many times. But I find making people laugh to be a really specially ability. It’s like having a superpower.”

“If I had to pick a theme of the things I do, it would be: Girls win.”

The issue is out on newsstands May 26th.

Check Out 'Mockingjay: Burn' - An Impressive Hunger Games Fan Film

Mockingjay: Burn is a very impressive The Hunger Games fan film by director Leo Kei Angelos and co-producer Kristen Brancaccio who also stars in the film as Katniss Everdeen.

The gritty, cinematic Hunger Games short film takes you through the bombing sequence in District 8 and was done found-footage style. It's a really dark and realistic take on Mockingjay. We loved it!

A fabulous surprise was seeing our Catching Fire tribute from District 5, James Logan, starring as Boggs in Mockingjay: Burn

WANT TO WIN A CUSTOM-MADE DISTRICT 13 PATCH SEEN IN THE VIDEO? Leo and Kristen are giving away patches used in the movie to 10 random people who tweet/instagram a photo supporting the D13 rebellion and linking to the video. Make sure to use the hashtag #MockingjayBurn to enter.

Jennifer Lawrence is the Face of Dior Addict

In a press release today, Dior announced that Jennifer Lawrence will be the new face of Dior Addict, the make-up line famous for their shiny lipsticks and glosses. Dior says of the new collab:

“As part of her involvement, Jennifer Lawrence will be seen appearing in commercials and a custom-made print campaign for the brand-engaging young, confident women who exude the vibrant, seductive flair of Dior Addict makeup.”

The Dior Addict Lipstick Collection is completely relaunching on September 1, 2015 with 44 new shades and a new formula, that will be available for sale worldwide at that time.

Jennifer Lawrence has been repping Dior for a few years now, appearing in ads for Miss Dior and stepping out on nearly every red carpet in the house's designs. Speculation had been swirling that she was about to part ways with the brand but it looks like they'll be working together for a whole lot longer. Can't wait to see those commercials!

'Mockingjay Part 2' Reshoots Happening in Atlanta June 6,7,8

Catrett Locke Casting, the company that cast all the extras for The Hunger Games films in Atlanta, have posted an extras casting call for "Untitled Trilogy" (the code title they've used for The Hunger Games films) reshoots that are happening on June 6, 7, 8 in Georgia.

Could they be filming the epilogue at this shoot? Who knows! It's obviously all speculation right now, but we do know that they still have that epilogue scene to shoot for MJ2, according to Francis Lawrence and Nina Jacobson. This could simply be reshoots for other scenes.

It's interesting that they're asking for 6-9 month old babies  - a little young for the book-version toast babies. Could this be an epilogue montage of some sort? A brunette female double 35+ and a blonde male double. But 46" waist? That's a larger guy - not Peeta. Bald guy for Boggs and blonde guy for... chubby Haymitch?  We'll keep you posted if we hear anything new!

Happy Birthday, Katniss Everdeen!

Do we celebrate the birthdays of fictional characters here at PanemPropaganda? You better believe it! Happy Birthday to Katniss Everdeen, our Girl on Fire!

How do we know that May 8th is Katniss' birthday, you ask? Suzanne Collins told us:

I kept telling myself if I could only hold out until May, just May 8th, I would turn twelve and be able to sign up for the tesserae and get that precious grain and oil to feed us.

- The Hunger Games, Chapter 2

On May 8th, I went to the Juctice Building, signed up for my tesserae, and pulled home my first batch of grain and oil in Prim's toy wagon.

 - The Hunger Games, Chapter 4

So go eat some lamb stew, pick a dandelion in the Spring, be a rebel and a hero, save your sister and celebrate Katniss Everdeen today!

Sam Claflin's New Projects: 'The Huntsman' + Soccer Legend Biopic

Sam Claflin in Snow White and the Huntsman

Sam Claflin is going to have a very busy year! He's signed on to reprise his role as William in The Huntsman, the sequel (or pre-quel? - it's hard to tell) to Snow White and The Huntsman. Kristen Stewart isn't coming along for the ride this time, but Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron are back as well as newcomers Emily Blunt and Jessica Chastain. The Hunstman lands April 22, 2016.

Sam has also been cast as British soccer legend Robin Friday in a biopic scheduled for a fall shoot in the U.K. The film will be based on the biography “The Greatest Footballer You Never Saw: The Robin Friday Story,” co-written by Paul McGuigan and Paolo Hewitt. With Sam's background in - and love for - British football, this should be perfect casting.

Friday played for the Reading and Cardiff teams for four years in the 1970s while leading a hedonistic lifestyle. He died at the age of 38 in 1990; in 2004 he was voted an “all time cult hero” in a BBC poll.

Sam is currently shooting Me Before You with Emilia Clarke, then will appear in Their Finest Hour and a Half, a romantic comedy set in the early 1940s co-starring Gemma Arterton.
