'Mockingjay Part 2' Featured in the Comic-Con Preview Issue of EW

New "first-look" images from Mockingjay Part 2 are featured in the Comic Con Preview issue of Entertainment Weekly. The July10/17 double issue is out on stands tomorrow. We'll update this post with more images as they are released. 

Of the final installment director Francis Lawrence gives much credit to author Suzanne Collins “There is some serious girl power in this movie. She wrote it that way, and it’s been so much fun to inhabit.”

“It’s probably the most emotional of the bunch,” he says. “And I think it’s the most ­satisfying of the bunch.”

'The Hunger Games' Cast Members Celebrate the Opening of The Hunger Games Exhibition

Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Willow Shields and Jena Malone celebrated the opening of The Hunger Games Exhibition in New York today by getting a look inside along with director Francis Lawrence, producers Nina Jacobson and Jon Kilik, and Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer. 

It's so great to see at least part of the gang back together!

The Hunger Games Exhibition opens to the public on Wednesday, July 1st at Discovery Times Square in New York City. And it was just announced THIS MORNING that The Exhibition's next stop will be San Francisco, CA. Read more on that here.

We FINALLY have confirmation from Lionsgate that Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Willow Shields, Francis Lawrence and Nina Jacobson are confirmed for the Comic-Con Mockingjay Part 2 Panel!

The panel starts at noon on Thursday, July 9th in Hall H for those lucky enough to be attending this year! You can ask questions for the panel starting now on social media with the hashtag #MockingjaySDCC. 

Also announced is a special episode of Conan O'Brien on Thursday, July 9th featuring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth. Conan airs on TBS at 11/10c.

Assouline and W Magazine hosted an intimate dinner to celebrate the release of Tim Palen: Photographs from The Hunger Games. Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Francis Lawrence were on hand to honor Lionsgate's Chief Brand Officer and President of Worldwide Marketing Tim Palen at the Whitney Museum of Art last night in New York City.

Jennifer Lawrence Unveils a NEW 'Mockingjay Part 2' Trailer and Red Mockingjay Suit at CineEurope

Now we know why Jennifer Lawrence's team was so keen on pulling that Funny or Die April Fool's clip off the internet! Jennifer introduced footage from Mockingjay Part 2 (including a new trailer) at CineEurope via taped message, and the shots revealed a new RED Mockingjay suit. (At least it's new to anyone who missed that April Fool's gem). 

Lionsgate's presentation at the film exhibitor trade show in Barcelona also included Allegiant, The Last Witch Hunter and several other upcoming titles. 

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new Mockingjay Part 2 trailer is due out  in "a month."
