Jennifer Lawrence to Star in & Produce 'The Rules of Inheritance'

Jennifer Lawrence is set to take on a new role in movie-making: producing. Lawrence will star in and produce The Rules of Inheritance. Susanne Bier, who won an Oscar for her Danish film In a Better World, will direct.

The film is an adaptation of the memoir of the same name by Claire Bidwell Smith, about the hardships she went through when both of her parents were diagnosed with cancer when she was 14.

Producing alongside Lawrence will be Bruce Cohen, who worked with Lawrence on Silver Linings Playbook. Abi Morgan (The Iron Lady) is writing the script.

Well, it's back to work already for Jennifer Lawrence. Director Bryan Singer tweeted this picture of Jennifer Lawrence today decked out as a "as a vengeful Mystique in X-Men: Days of Future Past." 

If anyone can look sexy covered in blue scales, it's our Jen. X-Men: Days of Future Past is due to hit theaters in July 2014.

Jennifer talks about making the movie with people that "are my friends and I LOVE them" and that Katniss is a character she "adores, obviously" and the film is "visually huge and stunning." 

Let's just say, hearing them talk about the movie makes us very impatient for November!!
