100 Days of Mockingjay Week 4 - Hunger Games Cosplay & More #CCTHG

The Hunger Games obviously isn’t a series about fashion, yet fashion definitely plays a part in the narrative. Consider the role that Katniss’ Mockingjay suit plays in the rebel propaganda, the fact that one of the most beloved characters (Cinna) is a stylist, and another (Effie) is one of the most sartorially original characters ever seen on-screen. The Capitol’s obsession with the ever-changing latest styles and body modification are a reoccuring theme throughout the trilogy, visually illustrating the divide between the districts and The Capitol.

The Hunger Games books and movie franchise provide a rich spectrum of opportunity for the cosplayer, from District 12's spare and vintage looks to the full-on opulence of Capitol Couture. How to choose just ONE? I think I'd have to go with Katniss's gladiator-like Tribute parade outfit from 'Catching Fire.' The woman looked like a warrior. Just stunning.
It's really hard, but probably I am choosing the dress that Katniss wore at the 74th Victory Tour party in Capitol (CF)
My favorite outfit would have to be the Mockingjay battle outfit that is in Mockingjay Part 1. I like this outfit because it symbolize that Katniss is strong and ready to change Panem. She is also going to fight for friends that died in games and for citizens in Panem that had enough of Snow.
It's hard to choose one... Of course I really like (adore) wedding dress... But Johanna's interview dress is fantastic too... And Katniss' overal in the Reaping Day (CF)...
I loved Effie's butterfly dress it was so amazing and cute!!! I wonder if maybe Cinna had something to do with it... or maybe not, but it looked amazing!

My number one outfit was Katniss' tribute parade golden dress in 'Catching Fire'. It was so gorgeous! And make-up and hair too.. I think it will be my favorite movie outfit always.
I love President Snow's white suit. Fits the role of an antagonist. Plus very classy. Matches all the white roses he sends.
I adore the aftermath of Katniss wedding dress, the mokingjay dress. The length, details, and color makes me fall in love. In my opinion when Katniss wore it, it should that feminine side of Katniss that the views don't see so a lot but still showed that edgy badass side of her.
I love Petta Mellark because he is brave and love above all things Katniss , and I love the costumes for Effie , they are so strange....I love it!
I cannot choose just one custume that i like more than an other one cause i love them all. I'm studying for being a fashion designer and one day for a homework i drawn a clothe line inspired by the hunger game and of course all the costume in this movie are fabulous and very inspired.
