Jennifer Lawrence's Family Talk About Their Mockingjay Part 1 Screening for Charity
Actress and Louisville native Jennifer Lawrence is passionate about giving back to her hometown. And her Lawrence Foundation is hosting a special charity screening of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 on November 19, 2014.
Jennifer's Mom, Karen Lawrence and sister-in-law Meredith Lawrence, talked to Candyce Clifft from WDRB Louisville this morning about the release of her newest movie and the upcoming charity screening.
Attendees are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite Hunger Games character for the chance to be named "Best Dressed" and win an autographed poster. Karen Lawrence explains that supporting events in her home town keeps Jennifer grounded. She has covered the costs of this special screening so that all proceeds will directly benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Kentuckiana. While she cannot attend the Louisville screening in person, Jennifer will well represented. Karen Lawrence, Jennifer's mother, and other family and friends will be there.
