The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes 2nd Trailer is Here!

The long-awaited second trailer for The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes has finally arrived! Set to a haunting version of The Hanging Tree sung by Lucy Gray’s Rachel Zegler, the new 2 minute and 45 second trailer, propels us back into Panem with some intense new scenes, additional world building, and gives us a bit more of the main characters in the film including Tom Blyth as Coriolanus Snow, Rachel Zegler as Lucy Gray Baird, Josh Andres Rivera as Sejanus Plinth, Jason Schwartzman as Lucretious “Lucky’” Flickerman, Coriolanus’ cousin, Tigris Snow, portrayed by Hunter Schafer, Peter Dinklage as Dean Casca Highbottom, and Viola Davis’ Dr. Volumnia Gaul.

The Hanging Tree, the Dark Days, the arena, the cabin at the lake, drones, snakes (so many SNAKES), the zoo, Rachel singing, Tom making us question our morality, Viola being scary, Hunter slaying, Dinklage Dinklaging, Jason comically relieving, the ENDING(!): there was a LOT to process about the trailer.

We also saw the debut of a new film poster featuring the main cast:

New images and stills from The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes also dropped, featuring Tom Blyth, Rachel Zegler, Hunter Schafer, Viola Davis, Jason Schwartzman, and Peter Dinklage.

You can find all of the official posters, stills, screencaps from the trailers and more in our GALLERIES
