‘The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes’ New Behind-the-Scenes Set Photos of ‘The Hunger Games’ Prequel

Clemensia Dovecote, played by Ashley Liao, and Coriolanus Snow, played by Tom Blyth

Some brand new set photos just dropped courtesy of J14 and SacTributos. They feature Clemensia Dovecote, played by Ashley Liao, and Coriolanus Snow, played by Tom Blyth, filming in front of the James Simon Gallery in Berlin, being escorted by Peacekeepers down the steps of what is probably The Academy. This could be the scene from the book where Clemmie and Coryo are asked to leave class and report to Dr. Gaul’s office with their proposal about making the games more interesting. Which means poor Clemmie will not be smiling for very long.

Clemensia Dovecote, played by Ashley Liao, and Coriolanus Snow, played by Tom BlythPossibly being escorted to Dr. Gaul's lab?We get a good, clear look at The Academy and Peacekeeper uniforms and Tom Blyth's blond wig (it looks great!). Tom is wearing a lapel pin that looks to be The Academy logo. And if you look closely, you'll see the Academy logoon their bookbags as well.

In the photo above you can see photographer Murray Close capturing the moment, and in the photo below you can see the Capitol extras. You can also see “war & homela” on the door behind Mr. Close (pointed out by @panem_triumphs_ ) So they’re walking into the department of war & homeland security - aka the citadel! We know what scene comes next!

Bonus pic of director, Francis Lawrence on set below.
