This week in our 100 Days of Mockingjay celebration it’s all about your Hunger Games fandom friendships - your THG BFFs. Who is your THG BFF? Do you have more than one? A whole crew? Did you meet your significant other in The Hunger Games fandom? Get inspired by reading Kelly’s post about what THG fandom friendships mean HERE.
Within The Hunger Games books and films, there are many meaningful friendships and platonic relationships. Think about Katniss’ relationships with Prim, Rue, Cinna, Effie, Haymitch, Madge, her long-standing friendship with Gale. Katniss says, “I've never been very good at friends.” Yet those friendships help her cope time and time again.
There are a few THG BFFs within The Hunger Games cast too! We all know (and love) the special friendship Jennifer Lawrence, and Josh Hutcherson share. They are about the best thing to happen to any press tour, ever. Jennifer says of both Josh and co-star Liam Hemsworth, “They are my best friends.” And both actors have said the same of her in countless interviews. We'll also be celebrating cast friendships this week.

My Hunger Games Best Friend Forever will be my best friend. We started the Hunger Games together with reading and went to all the movies together. We're really looking forward to the last part and hope it will be an amazing ending.

My #THGBFF is my niece. We attend all the movies together. We bought the books together. We are on a FB fan page together. We can even have complete conversations with each other only using lines from the books and/or movie. Shes the best.
I don't actually have #THGBFF because I share this passion alone :(
My #THGBFF is actually my mom. I got her to read the books and we go to see the movies together when they are in theaters.
My THG BFF is my sister because we both are obsessed with the books and movies. We always talk about it as much as possible. Suzanne Collins is incredible author and we cannot wait to see Mockingjay Part 2 together even if it is the last one. Most likely we will be having a marathon of all the Hunger Games movies before seeing Mockingjay Part 2. Sometimes, when we wear our shirts, people recognize them and do the THG whistle and salute to us or just say they like our shirts. Which is amazing and THG fandom goes hard! Also, my THG BFFs would have to be the fandom and cast on portraying the characters so well on screen. By the way, I am on Team Everlark! Thanks Panem Propaganda for having this giveaway!

Honestly, like Katniss, I am not good at making friends. If I have to point a finger to one of my only friends as my #THGBFF ,that'd be Karen. :)
My THGBFF is Jasmine. I met her on Twitter and our love for thg is one of the things that we have in common. We even plan to watch the movies together, but it never really happens hahaha.
My #THGBFF is my friend Lyndzie, who introduced me to the hunger games. I was only able to do 1/4 things for the giveaway, but I guess Prims name only went in once and she got picked so I have a chance :)
My #THGBFF are actually my bff's before THG came. TBH, I was the one who let them know about the book! THG and the latter books have always been our topic; we even use it for our book reports! We enjoy those times when we laugh and try to stop each other from spoiling the books!

My THGBFF is my sister Jess. Thanks to her I discovered The Hunger Games and I could never thank her enough. She saw The Hunger Games two years ago but I wasn't really interested to the film. A year ago she asked me to see it together and then we watched it. I loved the story and I bought the first book of the trilogy. I just loved it and then we watched Catching Fire together. I began to be literally obsessed with those movies, but it wasn't the same for her. Then I bought and read the second book of the trilogy and I loved it, too. Me and my sister went watch Mockingjay Part 1 at the cinema and we literally LOVED it. Jess gave me Mockingjay as a present for Christmas and that book has exceeded the limits of obsession. She read the first two books of the trilogy this summer and she loved it too.
We are going together through these days, sharing our love for these books and film, and waiting to see the end of this incredible story that has enthralled and linked us, more than we were already before.

I don't really have a #THGBFF. I wish I did though. But I thought instead I would write about my favorites Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson. Before The Hunger Games I never really knew much about Jennifer. I had heard of Josh and watched some of Journey. But that was about it. Once I watched the movie, I was an official hard core shipper of Joshifer. I love their friendship they share. Those are the kind of friends that are very rare to find. We all know that Josh and Jennifer have the most fun together. I believe they really do love each other, but not in the way some would think. They have even said that they loved each other but not in a relationship kind of way. Just a simple, long-lasting, fun, protective, brother and sister friendship. Sure, one of my biggest wishes is for the both of them to get married, but that may not happen. But a girl can dream can't she? I have always adored them two. They are one of my biggest OTPs. Even if they remain best friends forever, and nothing more, that is ok. Because they will both be happy and that is all that matters to me. I think if something ever happened to Josh, Jennifer would probably fall apart. Same for Josh. They truly care about each other. They have this unbreakable sibling bond.
