This week in our 100 Days of Mockingjay celebration it’s all about your Hunger Games fandom friendships - your THG BFFs. Who is your THG BFF? Do you have more than one? A whole crew? Did you meet your significant other in The Hunger Games fandom? Get inspired by reading Kelly’s post about what THG fandom friendships mean HERE.
Within The Hunger Games books and films, there are many meaningful friendships and platonic relationships. Think about Katniss’ relationships with Prim, Rue, Cinna, Effie, Haymitch, Madge, her long-standing friendship with Gale. Katniss says, “I've never been very good at friends.” Yet those friendships help her cope time and time again.
There are a few THG BFFs within The Hunger Games cast too! We all know (and love) the special friendship Jennifer Lawrence, and Josh Hutcherson share. They are about the best thing to happen to any press tour, ever. Jennifer says of both Josh and co-star Liam Hemsworth, “They are my best friends.” And both actors have said the same of her in countless interviews. We'll also be celebrating cast friendships this week.

My Hunger Games BFF is Dani. I met her on twitter and went to the first mall tour in Seattle. I had a blast and continued to hang out both online and in person :)

my #THGBFF is Cara! she lives a province away and she was the person who told me about, and surprise mailed me a copy of The Hunger Games, which i devoured in 2 days. i then drove 45 minutes to go buy the next 2 books because i couldnt wait to finish the story.
My #THGBFF is my Kuya Jeffrey who introduced me to The Hunger Games series. He gave me his personal copy of his books in order for me to read all of them. And few months later, I bought my own copies. He's also my movie buddy since the The Hunger Games movie. He's one of the best tribute I've ever known.
My The Hunger Games best friend is Carlos. I met him through Twitter, and ever since, I never been apart. We talk to each other everyday, about everything. I never thought that I would met someone and be best friends forever with through a book. He is the Peeta to my Katniss, and we are so similar to the characters... He is my dandelion on the spring. We always count on each other. THG had such a impact in my life and one of the best parts of it is my best friend.

My #THGBFF is my sister, we've watched all the movies together and we have read the books together too!! The suspense was amazing!!
My THBFF has been my mom. Many of my friends have come and gone but my mom has always encouraged me, pushed me and saw what I wanted in life. She never held me back but only pushed me to move forward. She has a giving heart and has helped so many people in her life.
