New 'Mockingjay Part 1' Clip - Meet The Panem Rebels

Katniss Everdeen meets the Panem Rebellion in this new clip from Mockingjay Part 1 "Meeting The Crew." In a scene that's slightly expanded from the Mockingjay book version of events, Katniss meets the rebels from District 13 in a hovercraft on her way to District 8.

This clip is the one that's hidden in the OurLeaderTheMockingjay app - it's on the hovercraft in the cockpit. Go there (virtually), turn around and look behind you once you're inside - there is a small play triangle button.

Josh Hutcherson in British GQ

Josh Hutcherson has a nice new editorial and interview in the December issue of British GQ. In the article Josh talks about his relationship with Jennifer Lawrence and says,

"If Jennifer Lawrence and I were at all attracted to each other, it would be the most intense relationship in the world."

Check out the pictures and transcript thanks to JoshHutchersonNews on tumblr!

"You know, at one point in my life, I want to see what it’s like…"

Josh Hutcherson might be sitting amid the serene surroundings of London’s Soho Hotel, but his conversation is running wild in the murderous forests where his Hunger Games character, Peeta Mellark, has been residing these past few years.

Yes, he has it in him to kill. “If it’s you or them, you’re probably going to pick yourself.” Yes, he’s fired a gun, but no he doesn’t own one. “We do some things right in America, like bathrooms, kitchens, malls and water parks, but then we do some things wrong, like assault rifiles.”

No, he’s not much cop with a crossbow, but his HG co-star Jennifer Lawrence certainly is: “She’s really good, she’s had five years of training, so she’s pretty solid.” And yes, if it’s all the same to you, he’s very keen to taste human flesh.

"I don’t want somebody to die for me to eat them," he explains. "However, if someone happened to die, from natural causes and it was not so taboo… I’m curious. I want to know what it tastes like. Like you want to know what a pigeon tastes like, you know, except a human. They’re all animals."

Since landing the role opposite Lawrence, Hutcherson, 22, has lived with daily internet updates of how he’s cheating on/dating her/ making you wonder if it’s the flesh of certain overexcited bloggers he’d like to sample, but he calmly insists their relationship is purely platonic.

"From the moment we met, we just hit it off," he asserts. "If we were at all sexually attracted to each other, it would be the most intense relationship in the world. However, there has never been an ounce of that between us. It’s been brother and sister from the beginning. We just love each other and that’s a special connection that you only have a couple of times in your life."

With The Hunger Games’ finale Mockingjay (split over two films, natch) now complete, Hutcherson must look to life beyond Lawrence and expects “major separation anxiety”, thought he’s been keeping busy with Benecio Del Toro, filming Escobar: Paradise Lost — about a boy who unwittingly dates drug lord Pablo Escobar’s daughter.

Eager to return to his native Kentucky, there’s one final question he must answer first. Is his mother really, as the internet insists, called Michelle Fightmaster?

"Oh yeah, that’s true," he replies, nonchalantly. "It’s a German name originally that got changed. My grandfather was actually a kickboxer at one point in his life and that was his name. Tough thing to live up to. Fightmaster! I’m gonna kick your ass."

Jennifer Lawrence for Madame Le Figaro

Jennifer Lawrence has a new spread and interview in the French Magazine Madame Le Figaro. Check out the beautiful pics thanks to the fab justaboutmisslawrence on tumblr.
The release of Mockingjay - Part 2 in 2015 will mark the end of the saga. What will you take away from this experience?

Jennifer: It's the first time I've played the same role for several years. My character, Katniss, and I, are similar: we live in the countryside, we have to fight to survive in a foreign environment. Katniss has to literally kill to survive, which fortunately is not the case with me! After the events in Catching Fire, she is suffering from post-traumatic stress. In Mockingjay, she is so vulnerable that she must rebuild herself. It was interesting and exciting to grow with her, facing such exceptional circumstances, like when I was learning my craft in Hollywood, where everything was happening at breakneck speed.

Like for Katniss, it seems difficult for you to adapt to your celebrity status...

I hesitated for three long days before accepting The Hunger Games. I dreamed of independent films. I was afraid of being identified as such a prominent character for young people. At 20, you're rarely faced with a decision that will have such an impact on your future. I wasn't sure about wanting this life. But I was afraid of one day regretting missing this opportunity. Since then, I realised that anything I do, at any level, would cause me to lose a part of my private life...
Most stars your age are hyper connected on social media, it's how they maintain their "brand" and the buzz around their careers. Not you. Why? -
It does not interest me for a second! I have hundreds of emails right now! I always had a very clear idea of what I wanted to do: acting, that's all. Unfortunately I can't control my presence in the tabloids. For each "candid" photo published in these magazines, I usually spent three hours playing cat and mouse with photographers. Of course, by contract, I have to have a presence in the media promoting my work. But if I had the choice, you would only see me in the movies ...
