100 Days of Mockingjay Week 4 - Hunger Games Cosplay & More #CCTHG

The Hunger Games obviously isn’t a series about fashion, yet fashion definitely plays a part in the narrative. Consider the role that Katniss’ Mockingjay suit plays in the rebel propaganda, the fact that one of the most beloved characters (Cinna) is a stylist, and another (Effie) is one of the most sartorially original characters ever seen on-screen. The Capitol’s obsession with the ever-changing latest styles and body modification are a reoccuring theme throughout the trilogy, visually illustrating the divide between the districts and The Capitol.

The Hunger Games books and movie franchise provide a rich spectrum of opportunity for the cosplayer, from District 12's spare and vintage looks to the full-on opulence of Capitol Couture. It's so so so hard to choose only ONE. I love Katniss' dark dress with a little bit dark pink on her shoulder worn at wedding party. She look like a big lady behind her strong,wild and brave part. I'm very excited for her clothes in Mockingjay part. 2,also I can't wait to see the entire movie.
I love Katniss's blazing dress on the tribute's chariots as they approach Snow. The dress alone, the makeup, her hair. She looked amazing. Peeta's firey outfit looked amazing as well.
My favorite outfit would have to be the wedding dress in catching fire, before and after it turned into the mockingjay dress. That dress was amazing.
Any outfit designed by Cinna is just beautiful, but for me the most impressive has to be the wedding dress turned mockingjay!

My favorite costume is the dress that Katniss wears in the tribut parade for the Quarter Quell!
I absolutely love her Mockingjay dress in CF - so aesthetic and unique; it literally slayed every costume at that Quarter Quell tribute interviews.

I love and completely adore all the hunger games costumes, but the one that stood out the most for me is Katniss' wedding dress. Its just incredibly stunning!
Pretty much every single outfit Effie wore- I hate the capitol but I love the clothes, tbh.
All Hunger Games costumes, for me, are very very beautiful in their own ways. But if I were to pick one, my favorite is Katniss' Mockingjay armor. It's really alluring especially when Katniss wears it. Black is a good color for it and I really like it. <3
My absolute favorite costume is of course the cf wedding dress where it transforms into a mockingjay. I bet that's a lot of people's favorite too but I seriously want that to be my wedding dress.

I loved Katniss' dress from Snow's party, and her outfit in D. 11 on the victory tour in CF.
I love the cloths that Katniss wears in district 12, in both the hungergames and catching fire. I also love the white suit that peeta wears on the show in catching fire...

I adore the Katniss Cowl. It is truly beautiful! I've been trying to nab one for a while now.
My favorite costumes from the movie are all in Catching Fire: the Mockingjay dress, the black dress Katniss wears at the party in President Snow's mansion, and the *hint hint* grey cowl from when she goes back out to the woods of her home district. But honestly, the entire costume selection for any and every character (central or otherwise) in the story is stunning!
