The Hunger Games obviously isn’t a series about fashion, yet fashion definitely plays a part in the narrative. Consider the role that Katniss’ Mockingjay suit plays in the rebel propaganda, the fact that one of the most beloved characters (Cinna) is a stylist, and another (Effie) is one of the most sartorially original characters ever seen on-screen. The Capitol’s obsession with the ever-changing latest styles and body modification are a reoccuring theme throughout the trilogy, visually illustrating the divide between the districts and The Capitol.

The Hunger Games books and movie franchise provide a rich spectrum of opportunity for the cosplayer, from District 12's spare and vintage looks to the full-on opulence of Capitol Couture. The Capitol Fashion in general is fascinating to me-- love seeing all the vibrant colors and bold statements!
The Mockingjay suit is one of my favorites, because it has so many details, that I find it as a challenge for me as a cosplayer. I'm currently working on the elaboration of this suit to wear it on "Mockingjay Part 2" premiere, and it's all handmade.
My beloved costume is the Mockingjay cloth what Cinna had planed and the simple blue dress, what was on Katniss when she was selected to the first Hunger Games. This two dresses so simple and so strong in the same time! :)

Do I have to pick just one??????? i love the wedding fress that turns into a Mockingjay like ermagerd! and i love all of the other fire outfits and i really like that butterfly outfit of Effie's and there are so much more but whatever
I absolutely adore the Catching Fire wedding dress. It's definitely one of those iconic costumes in film. I love the fact it goes from the stunning wedding dress to the mockingjay dress after it is consumed with fire.

My favourite costumes in the whole series would have to be...
1... Effies butterfly outfit... It is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING to say the least!
2... Katniss' mockingjay dress... The way she spins and then suddenly turns into a mockingjay... Amazing!
3... The jumpsuit katniss wears to the 75th hunger games reaping.., I know it sounds basic, and it is! But I love it so much!!!
It's hard to choose one costume,all of them are beautiful and unique, but if i have to say, my absolute favourite one is the mockingjay uniform of Katniss, that is just simply awesome :D
My favorite costume is Katniss' Catching Fire Parade Costume
I think my favorites would have to be Katniss' outfits before she went into the games. As gorgeous as I think all of the other elaborate costumes are, I love the simplicity of the original costumes in District 12. Its a style that could be adapted and worn today, and reminds me of styles from the 1930s and 40s.
There are so many amazing outfits in the hunger games series, but my favorites are Katniss' arena outfits and her 75th Hunger games chariot ride outfit.
I love the outfits that Katniss and Effie wore! My favorite Katniss outfit was the wedding dress/mockingjay outfit. My favorite Effie outfit was the butterfly outfit!

My favorite costume is definitely Katniss' outfit when she visits district 3 as part of the victory tour in catching fire. I love how the outfit looks so futuristic but also has an earthy color tone, it's beautiful!
"Catching Fire" dress was my favorite. Just awesome and beautiful.
I can't just choose one outfit because there are too many I love, especially Katniss' and Effie's. But I liked the part in Catching Fire where Katniss had to try the wedding dresses for the photoshoot and the people could vote for the dress they liked most. I would've loved to see that in the movie.
I love all of Effie's outfits! So amazing! The other outfits are also fantastic!
